Steelers made the right decision to franchise Le’Veon Bell
The Steelers announced they are going to franchise Le’Veon for the second consecutive year. Colin thinks it’s the right decision over a long-term contract, given the short shelf life of NFL running backs and Bell’s past drug suspensions, which have forced him to miss time in multiple years.
With Bell in-line to make $14-million under the franchise tag, he shouldn’t be too upset. Pittsburgh made the right decision to tag him instead of making a long-term commitment.
Isaiah Thomas is a chemistry killer
Lakers guard Isaiah Thomas tried to be the hero against Portland on Monday night, but instead ended up missing a key free throw and committing a game-deciding turnover that sealed the win for Portland.
After getting shipped out of Cleveland for poisoning team chemistry, Thomas is having a tough time fitting in with L.A., too. In each situation, Colin thinks the evidence shows that Thomas is the problem because he wants franchise player respect, but doesn’t have franchise player game.
