Russell Wilson always makes “the play,” Cousins never does
Russell Wilson and the Seahawks easily disposed of Kirk Cousins and the Vikings, and Colin thought the game summed up what both quarterbacks are and aren’t.
Wilson had an awful game by any standard, but still manged to make the clutch plays to win it when it mattered. Cousins, on the other hand, ended up padding his stats in garbage time, but looked incapable of making winning plays when it matters. Now the Vikings are stuck with Cousins, and the Seahawks are headed to the playoffs.
