Rockets/Warriors is now about Harden’s legacy
With Kevin Durant out for the remainder of the Western Conference Semifinals with a claf injury, the Rockets need to take two in a row from a banged up Warriors team to finally make it back to the Finals.
Houston will never have a better chance to slay their dragon, and the player whose legacy has the most riding on the out come is James Harden. Harden has slowly developed a reputation as a video game number regular season scorer who burns out in the playoffs. If he can’t carry the Rockets now, it will cement that rep. If he can break through it could start a new narrative. No other player in the series has close to as much on the line.
