Pete Carroll’s culture is unsustainable

Pete Carroll has always had the magic fairy dust when it comes to turning around football teams. He quickly transformed USC from a stagnant former power into dominant national champions, and the Seahawks from a bad NFC West team into Super Bowl champs. The downside of Carroll’s highly emotional, loose culture is that ends up collapsing on itself.

Controversial NFL Combine questions come with the territory

Just like every year, stories are leaking out of the combine about controversial questions teams asked of players. This year, people are in an uproar because LSU’s Derrius Guice was asked questions about his sexuality.

Colin doesn’t have an issue with teams putting players on the spot with uncomfortable questions because he views the 15-minutes teams get with each prospect as more of a mental stress test than a typical job interview. With only a limited time to interview players that are potentially million dollar investments, almost nothing should be off limits.
