No way Kawhi stays in Toronto
After initial reports that Kawhi Leonard had no interest in playing for the Raptors, new reports leaked that he was warming to the idea. Colin thinks the reports are coming from the Leonard camp so he’s not labeled a malcontent, but doesn’t think Toronto fans should get their hopes up that he’ll pull a Paul George and stay long term.
He believes that the Toronto front office didn’t make the deal with the intention of locking up Leonard long term, but rather to get from DeMar DeRozen’s contract and hopefully flip Leonard and get rid of more bad contracts as part of a total reboot. also, Leonard wants to increase his off court marketability and that’s not happening in The North.
