NFL teams should stop chasing the next McVay

Rams Head Coach Sean McVay has turned the NFL on its head with his prolific offense since taking over in L.A., and his success has teams with coaching vacancies scrambling to find the “next” transformational young offensive coach. Colin thinks this is a big mistake.

Arizona, Cleveland and Green Bay have all hired young, unproven, offensive minded head coaches in Kliff Kingsbury, Freddie Kitchens and Matt LaFleur, respectively, but 7 of the 8 remaining coaches in this years playoffs are over 50. The hire Colin liked the most was experienced Bruce Arians – and his long track record – taking over in Tampa.
