NBA players’ Steph-hate is all about jealousy
An recent article described the icy relationship some NBA superstars, including LeBron James, have with Steph Curry. Colin thinks the Curry is resented by some NBA players because they view him as athletically inferior, had an upper class suburban upbringing, and because he has ushered in the 3-ball NBA era that has made big guys who can’t shoot, almost obsolete.
LeBron shouldn’t get a pass for his Game 1 bench meltdown
A raw feed video of LeBron melting sown on the Cavs bench at the end of regulation in Game 1, immediately following J.R. Smith’s now-famous mental error, and Colin thinks it’s a bad look for James.
He still believes the refs stole Game 1 with a controversial replay reversal of Kevin Durant’s charge, but at the time of the meltdown, LeBron checked out and seemed to reside to the Warriors winning in OT. LeBron’s frustrations with his supporting cast, the nightly burden he carries, and the situation are understandable, but he shouldn’t get a pass for bailing out on his team when they needed him the most in crisis.
