NBA player movement creates more parity, not less

Kawhi Leonard’s free agency decision has many terrified of the possibility of the Lakers becoming an untouchable superteam against which no one stands a chance, but Colin thinks the era of player movement has created more parity in the league, not less.

While fans fear the next Big 3, the reality is that many players now – like KD and possibly Kawhi – have shown they are willing to break up title contenders to play elsewhere. In contrast, the greatest NBA dynasty ever – the 50’s and 60’s Celtics – had players that were restricted from ever leaving. People would complain about that today, too.
