NBA needs one centralized playoff location
As the uncertainty regarding the length of the nationwide Coronavirus shutdown continues, the NBA is reportedly busy trying to figure out a way to finish the season and the playoffs. It seems clear to Colin that the best way to play the playoffs is to do it in one centralized place, like Vegas, play all the games in one arena (2-3 a day), have all the teams in one hotel, one doctor for everyone, one catering service. The networks can figure out a way to make the empty arena compelling for a TV audience, but the most important thing is that it’s contained and safe for the players.
