MNF was a statement loss for Garrett and the Cowboys

In sports, the term “statement win” is ingrained in our vocabulary, but Colin thinks there is a such thing as a statement loss, too, and for a specific example you need look no further than the Cowboys performance on Monday Night Football against the Titans.

Dallas’ pathetic performance with two weeks to prepare, coming off a bye, was an indictment of head coach Jason Garrett, Dak Prescott, and the current state of the organization. The Cowboys looked totally flat, were inept offensively, and poorly coached. Jerry Jones says he won’t fire Jason Garrett during the season, but Colin doesn’t know what else he needs to see to pull the trigger.
