McCarthy hire feels too safe for Dallas
Dallas took forever to announce that Jason Garrett would be let go, but turned around and immediately announced that former Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy to replace him. Colin thinks McCarthy is a quality coach, but feels too safe for Jerry Jones and Dallas as a replacement for the stagnant end of the Garrett era. Dallas needed an adrenaline injection in terms of energy and innovative scheme to take this roster to the next level, but McCarthy feels like a slightly different version of Garrett. Jerry has said he always regrets not swinging for the fences in business, this hire feels like a double.
