Le’Veon Bell picked the wrong position to holdout for a fat payday
Some of Le’Veon Bell’s teammates made headlines yesterday when they publicly ripped him for his contract holdout. Colin thinks Bell is severely overestimating his value because running backs are among the most replaceable positions in the NFL. If Bell wanted to get paid, he picked the wrong position.
Aaron Rodgers allows the Packers to overpay for a Khalil Mack
The Packers had the chance to be aggressive and make a move for Khalil Mack, but they passed and Colin thinks it’s a big mistake. He thinks having an elite QB like a Rodgers or Brady allows teams to underpay for offensive talent because elite QB’s can elevate marginal players. By saving on offense, they could have overpaid for a defensive superstar like Mack. Instead the Packers chose to pinch pennies and now Rodgers will instead be getting harassed by Mack for the next 5 to 10 years.
