LeBron’s obsessiveness has taken him from great to legendary
LeBron James made a surprise appearance at the NBA Summer League to watch the Lakers play, and Colin isn’t shocked. Like Tom Brady and other fully committed legends, LeBron obsesses over every details that other lesser players overlook. Most people think of obsessiveness as a negative, but in LeBron’s case it’s taken him to another level. His god given talent has made him great, but his obsessiveness and preparation has made him into a legend.
Aaron Rodgers’ will be better off not being highest paid QB
There’s no question that Aaron Rodgers is severely underpaid, and makes considerably less than some marginal starters like Kirk Cousins that have signed recently, but Colin thinks Rodgers will be better off if he doesn’t break the bank for his next contract.
The Packers have always struggled to sign free agents and keep players and by Rodgers taking a discount, like Tom Brady, he’ll allow Green Bay to surround him with a better team, rather than be further pinched by the cap. Ultimately, Rodgers will make a ton of money in his post football career and his legacy would be better served by winning more than making the most money.
