Gottlieb: LeBron’s Mentality More MJ Than Ever

Gottlieb in for Colin:

LeBron’s mentality more MJ than ever

After being discussed as an afterthought in the MVP and championship conversations, LeBron flexed on Giannis and the loaded Clippers and reminded everyone that he’s not ready to pass the torch and step aside in year 17. Doug was impressed as you can be with the back-to-back regular season wins, but was more impressed with how LeBron has evolved into the NBA’s premier 4th quarter killer that can impose his total will on the game on offense or defensively, like Michael Jordan in his last Bulls run. With this Lakers team, LeBron has to have an MJ mindset, offensively and defensively, to elevate the roster and make up for Anthony Davis’ frequent 4th quarter disappearing acts.

Also:

-Don’t crown the Lakers

-Dak going from most underpaid to most overpaid

-Doug’s NFL free agency Tom-inoes

Guests:

Chris Broussard, Mark Schlereth, Ric Bucher
