LeBron can surpass MJ by winning a title with a 3rd team
LeBron is set to surpass Michael Jordan in almost every statistical category, but most think he will never surpass Jordan as the NBA’s G.O.A.T because Jordan has him beat with 6 NBA championships.
Even though LeBron can’t get to 6, Colin thinks if James could change the narrative of the Jordan debate if he leaves Cleveland and wins a title in a 3rd city. Colin believes 3 titles in three different cities is a greater accomplishment than Jordan’s 6 overall.
Steph Curry is the 2nd most influential NBA player of all-time
ESPN just released another one, this time of the 25 most influential NBA players of all-time. It correctly ranks Michael Jordan first, but Colin couldn’t believe it when he saw Steph Curry was only ranked 10th.
Colin ranks Steph as the second most influential player of all-time, behind Jordan, because of how he has transformed the modern NBA game – and basketball in general – with the three-point shot.
Curry is the face of the revolution that has transformed the NBA from a power league to a league run by guards where bigs who can’t knock down threes are an obsolete non-factor. Even LeBron hasn’t done that.
