Leadership separates Brady and Rodgers, not talent
A Bleacher Report exposé on Mike McCarthy pulled back the curtain on his dysfunctional relationship with Aaron Rodgers, but the future Hall of Fame quarterback doesn’t come out looking great either. Rodgers comes off as small, petty, and creating an organizational mood where everyone is constantly walking on eggshells around him.
In comparison to Tom Brady, Rodgers is more naturally gifted, but doesn’t have anywhere near the leadership qualities of Brady. Ultimately, Brady’s track record of getting the locker room to completely buy-in because he’s the greatest superstar teammate ever is what separates the two.
