Lamar Jackson/Flacco will play out like Tebow in Denver, with Twitter
Lamar Jakson made his NFL debut last night, and had an up and down performance, but Colin can already see where this is all headed.
Colin thinks Jackson is an NFL project, and nowhere near ready to take NFL snaps, but because he has big play ability, fan calls for him to start will only continue to grow as Joe Flacco struggles. Colin thinks it will parallel how Tim Tebow ended up starting in Denver, with Twitter added into the equation. Jackson isn’t ready, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Jackson ended up starting at some point, especially if Flacco plays like he did last year.
Moss will look bigger than ever after HOF weekend, TO never smaller
Randy Moss and Terrell Owens are largely considered the top two receivers of their generation, and both had over 15,000 yards receiving, both had over 150 TD’s, both also played for 5 teams. They also both had discipline issues, caught bad press at various times during their career and had reputations as malcontents.
Despite their similar career tracks, Colin thinks how they handle this weekend will leave different lasting images for both. Moss has humbly embraced the Hall of Fame induction ceremony and shown a respect for joining the elite club, and will look big because of it. Owens, on the other hand, is skipping the ceremony to hold his own event at his alma mater, and will look small and petty.
