Kobe’s a better offensive player than Harden
James Harden is on another record regular season scoring binge, and everyone but Colin is going gaga over it. In recent comments, Rockets GM Daryl Morey even said that The Beard could be the greatest offensive player of all-time, but Colin disagrees completely.
He thinks Harden’s history of collapsing in the playoffs, combined that the current NBA rules that are designed to statistically benefit high usage players don’t put him in the discussion with all-time greats. Taking into account the difference in eras, Colin thinks Kobe is a better overall offensive player because he did it in the playoffs and in a more physical NBA with big men clogging the lane defensively. Harden is a great offensive player, but he doesn’t belong on all-time lists for what he’s done to date.
