Kirk Cousins looks completely average compared to Carson Wentz
The Redskins have put off signing Kirk Cousins to a long-term deal for two years, despite calls from many to lock him up. The argument for signing Cousins is that, in a quarterback driven league, Cousins is better than what else is out there.
Colin thinks Cousins is good enough to start in the league, but he’s not a top tier QB. When sharing the Monday Night Football stage with Carson Wentz, last night, it was clear that Wentz is on another level that Cousins just isn’t capable of ever reaching.
Committing to Cousins is committing to “good enough,” but that’s a hard sell when Wentz shows how unimpressive that looks next to “great.”
Nothing sticks to Steph-lon Curry
Steph Curry threw his mouthpiece at an official at the end of a loss to the Grizzlies, and the NBA decided to fine him, instead of suspending him for a game. Colin thinks that almost every other player would have received a suspension, but Curry gets a pass because his brand is the NBA’s most harmless, huggable superstar.
Nothing sticks to the Curry because likeability matters. It’s not fair, but it’s the undeniable truth
