KD going East won’t change the West
Even without Kevin Durant, the shorthanded Warriors finished off their sweep of the Blazers and stamped their ticket to their 4th straight Finals appearance.
In Durant’s absence, the Splash Brothers and Draymond have had a renaissance and recaptured the spirit from when they first ambushed the league. KD may head East in the offseason, but even if he does, it won’t change the West. Golden State will still be the heavy favorite next year, just with the skeleton crew they ran out against the Blazers. Haters hoping for some collapse after Durant’s departure are going to keep being disappointed. This isn’t ending.
