Kawhi To The Lakers Would Be The Ultimate Clippers Insult

Kawhi to the Lakers would be the ultimate insult to the Clippers

According to reports, Kawhi Leonard will meet with the Lakers during free agency, who are all of a sudden a premier destination after trading for Anthony Davis and lucking into enough cap room to sign a 3rd max star.

The well run Clippers have meticulously laid plans to recruit Kawhi since last offseason, and have created a team and culture that is among the best in the NBA. After doing literally everything right, they could lose out on Leonard to the hot mess Lakers, who could stumble onto building one of the greatest teams ever. It would be impossible for the Clippers to ever seriously think they can overtake the Lakers in L.A. if it happens.
