Jimmy Butler should stop trying to “be like Mike” and more like the Warriors

Jimmy Butler demanded to be traded out of Minnesota several weeks and things only got messier yesterday, when Butler showed up to T’Wolves practice and went scorched earth on everyone from Karl-Anthony Towns to GM Scott Layden.

Butler seems determined to be traded to a team where he can be the man instead of sharing the spotlight and stats with other stars, but being a solo act in today’s NBA doesn’t work. If he wants to win he should look at how the Warriors collection of superstars that have all sacrificed to win titles instead of trying to “be like Mike” before he won titles.
