Gruden needs to show Derek Carr the love, not Nate Peterman
Jon Gruden has been less than enthusiastic about offering his support for Derek Carr since arriving in Oakland, but is already singing the praises of his new backup Nate Peterman – author of a 5 INT HALF with the BIlls and likely at best a #3 with Oakland.
It’s baffling to Colin why Gruden can’t bring himself to hype up Carr, who has had his confidence dashed through chaos and instability since entering the league, even if Gruden doesn’t think he’s the long term answer for the franchise. Praising Peterman is just another example of Carr getting no support from the organization.
