Gottlieb in for Colin:
Tiger won the weekend without winning the PGA
Tiger Woods came up just short in his bid to win his first tournament, and major, of his 2018 comeback at the PGA Championship, but Gottlieb still thinks he won the weekend.
Following years of chronic back problems, failed comebacks, and a DUI arrest last year, many thought Woods was done for good, but it’s hard to argue that he’s not back now. He won’t ever be back to 2000 Tiger, but he was the story this weekend and is still carrying the sport. His final round 64 is the only thing anyone will remember from Sunday, not that Brooks Koepka won the tournament.
