Gottlieb in for Colin:
The LeBron Lakers era finally begins
After the trade deadline passed with no Anthony Davis deal, the Lakers stormed back from 18 down to get a huge win in Boston against the Celtics, and Gottlieb thinks it marks the official start of the LeBron James era in L.A.
After playing more passively for most of the first half of the season, LeBron did what he always eventually does with his teams and created all the offense as the primary ball handler to either score or dish to teammates for open 3’s. Gottlieb thinks their acceptance of “LeBron Ball” could be a turning point for their season.
