Gottlieb in for Colin:
NFL must have had nothing on Tyreek Hill
Today, it was announced that Tyreek Hill would not be suspended by the NFL after an investigation into alleged child abuse allegations against the All-Pro wide receiver. Despite seemingly damaging audio released at the beginning of the ordeal, Doug thinks the NFL must have had zero evidence implicating Hill. Given his history of domestic violence entering the league and sensitivity to abuse issues, Hill would have gotten at least two games for the bad PR firestorm. Ultimately, it paid to wait until all the facts around the situation were in, rather than allow themselves to be pressured by the Twiiter knee jerk reaction crowd.
