Gottlieb in for Colin:
Aaron Rodgers doesn’t need another Super Bowl to cement his legacy
Aaron Rodgers just signed a massive 4-year $134 million extension with the Packers, and some think Rodgers needs to win another Super Bowl to justify having his name mentioned in the top tier of all-time quarterbacks.
Doug disagrees, and thinks Rodgers has proven he’s the best quarterback of this generation in terms of overall ability, and has consistently done more with less with a Packers team that has always had a deficient roster and a bad defense. Like Dan Marino, Rodgers will never match the ring totals of other greats, and he doesn’t need another one to justify his legacy as an all-time great.
