Dallas should pay Dak before Zeke
Ezekiel Elliott was a no show on the Cowboys team flight to training camp, and is now dug in on a holdout with the team as the preseason kicks off. Colin has made it clear that he thinks Elliott is a tradable asset because he plays a replaceable position and his off field issues, but he also thinks they would be wise to set the tone for the future of the organization by inking Dak Prescott to a new deal first.
Not only is Dak the unquestioned locker room leader, but he’s also going to continue to improve throughout his next deal, while Elliott is likely to level off as a player and face more unknown off field messes in the future.
