Dak is the least is of the Cowboys’ problems
Sports is the ultimate “what have you done for me lately business,” and after becoming the darling of the NFL in his rookie season, Dak Prescott is facing critics after a step back sophomore season.
Colin was slow to buy in on Dak, but eventually bought in because he thinks Prescott has most of the franchise QB intangibles he likes, and thinks there are plenty of other areas of concern before worrying about him. Among them are Zeke staying out of trouble, Sean Lee staying on the field, the loss of Jason Witten, and their never ending secondary problems. Dak will be fine.
Giants could regret getting long-term with OBJ
The Giants are reportedly negotiating a long term contract with Odell Beckham that will make him the highest paid receiver in the NFL, and Colin thinks the conservative Giants could end up regretting it.
Beckham is everything the Giants aren’t. He’s edgy, flashy, and stands in stark contrast to his employer, that Colin described as “an accounting firm in cleats.” They’re enamored with Beckham’s star power and ability, but have already had to deal with a host of weird behavior and red flag off field incidents. If they ink him long term, they’ll own OBJ’s constant headaches and could end up getting sick of it over the long haul.
