Dak could lock up an extension with a win over the Saints
The Cowboys started the year in neutral thanks to an anemic offense led by Dak Prescott, but Dallas has found a winning recipe with a combination of a top tier defense and a balanced offensive attack that has them leading the NFC East heading into Week 13.
The biggest question at the end of this year is if Jerry Jones should extend Dak with a long term deal. Jones has been adamant that he intends to pay Prescott, but Colin thinks an impressive win over the Saints tonight will go a long way to guaranteeing he will be the quarterback of the future in Big D. Dak may never be a Top 5 passer, but he has as many wins over the last three seasons as Drew Brees. Beating Brees tonight could guarantee his payday.
