Carson Wentz will be the biggest star of the current young NFL quarterbacks
Colin is picking the Eagles to win the NFC East this year, and a large factor in his prediction was the continued growth of second-year quarterback Carson Wentz. Colin is all in.
He sees Wentz as the total package. He has the arm, IQ, presence, and the “it” factor, and an organization that has actively upgraded the roster since he was drafted. He predicts that when it’s all said and done, Wentz will be the biggest star of all the quarterbacks drafted in the past three years.
He believes Marcus Mariota will rival Wentz in terms of his play, but won’t have the star power because he’ll be buried in the AFC South, while Wentz will play in the spotlight of the NFC East, and face the Cowboys twice a year.
“I think Carson Wentz, of the new batch of quarterbacks in the last three years, is the best one out there, and is going to be the biggest star.”
Floyd Mayweather planting a spy in McGregor’s camp isn’t out of bounds
A video emerged today with Floyd Mayweather and ex-McGregor sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi yucking it up together. In the video, Mayweather implies that he sent Malignaggi as a spy on the McGregor camp from the beginning.
Whether there is any validity to the claim, or if it’s just to incite pre-fight buzz, is up for debate, but even if it is true, Colin doesn’t think it’s out of bounds.
Whether it’s sports, or business, people are always looking for an edge to maintain their dominance. Mayweather probably doesn’t need the inside info to win, but has the most to lose in the fight. When it comes to preparation, more is always better, even if it comes from a surreptitious plant.
