Browns need to hire Oklahoma’s Lincoln Riley for Baker
Coming off a loss to the Steelers that dropped them to 2-5-1 on the season, the Browns shocked everyone by canning Head Coach Hue Jackson and offensive coordinator Todd Haley. Colin didn’t like the move since the Browns had been competitive in all but one of their games this season, including 4 decided in overtime. If Cleveland had a competent kicker, they could have a winning record.
Baker Mayfield has been promising, but chaos in the organization could derail what looks like a promising career if Cleveland doesn’t find a capable new coach. Colin thinks the best option for Baker and the Browns is Oklahoma HC Lincoln Riley, who has an elite offensive mind and has had success with Mayfield.
