Brees will move ahead of Rodgers in the all-time QB rankings with another Super Bowl
Colin thinks Drew Brees and the Saints have a legitimate shot to win the Super Bowl, and believes that another title would move Brees past Aaron Rodgers in the all-time rankings of NFL quarterbacks. Even though Rodgers is largely seen as the poster child for a quarterback carrying an organization, Brees has had to overcome constant challenges in New Orleans, including Bountygate and the aftermath of Katrina.
Most consider Rodgers ahead of Brees at this point, but another title would give Brees the edge in the all-time rankings, in Colin’s eyes.
Alex Guerrero will be the scapegoat if the Pats don’t win it all
The Patriots will play their first game since the bombshell article revealed lingering tensions in the organization, and Colin thinks Alex Guerrero will be the scapegoat if New England can’t win another Super Bowl.
Spygate and Deflategate both saw low level employees take the fall for the Pats, even though they were clearly taking orders, but in this case, Guerrero is the easiest person to point to for creating division between Brady and Belichick, even if it’s not entirely his fault.
