Blame Roberts, not Kershaw

The Nationals stole their NLDS series from the Dodgers in Dodger Stadium by jumping all over Clayton Kershaw when he entered the game in the eighth with a two run lead. Washington jumped on Kershaw with back to back homers to tie the game, and eventually won the game in a blowout. Kershaw was an easy scapegoat again with another playoff disappointment.

Colin doesn’t blame Kershaw, he blame Dave Roberts for putting him in the game to begin with. Roberts knew Kershaw was historically bad after the 7th in the playoffs, and he had a warm bullpen ready to go. Baseball managers aren’t asked to do a lot, but Roberts blew it here.
