Blame Antonio Brown for the latest Steeler drama
Antonio Brown missed the Steelers final game, and in the aftermath it was revealed that he was inactive because of a practice incident where he reportedly threw a football at Ben Roethlisberger and stormed out of practice. After the incident, Brown reportedly refused to answer calls and texts from various members of the organization, including the owner.
Some have been quick to blame head coach Mike Tomlin’s lax, player empowering culture, but Colin thinks Brown is to blame here. Colin has been critical of Tomlin, but Brown is 30-years old and needs to be accountable for continuously creating drama and shouldn’t have to be hounded to act like an adult. With any other player, Pittsburgh would cut them and move on, but Brown is arguably the best receiver in the league with a contract that would result in a massive cap hit if he’s dealt. Only Brown can fix this, but that’s far from a lock.
