Better beat the Pats this year

The Pats looked dominant this weekend in their Divisional Round domination of the Chargers, but Colin still thinks year is the best chance NFL teams are going to get to take them down.

New England has obvious weaknesses, and the poorest collection of offensive weapons they’ve had since they won their first title in 2001. Even though Gronk is a shell of himself, Julian Edelman is aging, and they had uncharacteristic losses to bottom feeders, Belichick is likely to load up on reinforcements this offseason with 12 draft picks and additional cap space from Gronk’s likely retirement or release. It won’t get any easier than now.
