Andrew Lucks’s career start more impressive than Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes has captivated NFL fans and social media with his jaw-dropping arm, and many in the media are ready to project him in the class of some of the game’s all-time greats. Colin thinks Mahomes is an amazing talent, but doesn’t think the start of his career has been as impressive as Andrew Luck’s first year in the league.
While Mahomes was handed offensive guru Andy Reid and a playoff roster bursting with explosive offensive talent, Luck inherited an awful roster, the worst GM in NFL history, a defensive coach, and had to replace a legend in Peyton Manning. Mahomes took over for average Alex Smith that nobody ever liked after November. His turnovers have also been a problem in big games against the Rams Patriots and no one is talking about it because they get hypnotized by his arm and no-look passes. Mahomes may become an all-time QB, but at this point in both their careers, Luck’s resume is more impressive.
