AD not alpha enough to break up with the Pelicans

After a botched attempt to force his way out of New Orleans via trade during the season, new Pelicans GM trying to sell Davis on staying with the Pelicans to team up with #1 pick Zion Williamson. the two recently met for a breakfast meeting. Davis didn’t draw a line in the sand and demand a trade, but instead agreed to continue dialogue with Griffin.

Colin thinks Davis is a tremendous talent, but isn’t an alpha dog, and his failure to make it clear he wants out in a face-to-face with the GM is more evidence of it. By not speaking up, he may end up being an unwilling part of another rebuild and wasting prime years of his career.
