Aaron Rodgers shouldn’t re-sign with the Packers until they prove they deserve him
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are reportedly working toward a new contract, but Colin doesn’t think Rodgers should be in a rush to re-sign.
Unlike most NFL players, Rodgers has leverage over his team because he’s arguably the most irreplaceable player on any NFL team. Colin thinks he should use it and force the Packers to surround him with a better roster before signing on the dotted line.
Gronk is a replaceable part to the Patriots
Rob Gronkowski has decided to play for the Patriots next season after kicking around the idea of retiring. According to reports, Gronk wasn’t having any fun with the organization and had contemplated a switch to professional wrestling.
Some in the media have said the Patriots should try to make things more enjoyable, but Colin doesn’t think they need to change a thing. Gronk has no leverage and the team has already won a Super Bowl without him. Plus, the life of a professional wrestler is a 52-week miserable grind compared to playing in the NFL.
