Aaron Rodgers is more comparable to Big Ben than Brady
Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have always been linked when discussing the best quarterbacks in the NFL, but Colin thinks that Brady has widened the gap so far by winning five Super Bowls that it’s not even close anymore. He thinks the more reasonable comparison at this point in his career is Big Ben.
Roethlisberger and Rodgers both went to non-traditional football schools, have both had playoff success, won Super Bowls (Rodgers 1 to Roethlisberger’s 2), and also have significant playoff disappointments. They’re both also elite improvisers, have played for good, but not great coaches and haven’t hesitated to speak out against their organizations when they aren’t happy. Both Rodgers and Big Ben are great QB’s, but they’re nowhere near Brady.
