Jets Should Pass On The Peyton Manning GM Experiment

Jets should pass on the Peyton Manning GM experiment

The New York Jets are searching for a new GM after they decided to ax their old one following the draft and free agency, and are reportedly interested in recruiting Peyton Manning for the job. Colin thinks Peyton is unquestionably a football genius, but believes it would be a bad move for a franchise desperately in need of stability.

What the franchise really needs is a non-glamorous, front office grinder that has experience evaluating talent in order to methodically rebuild their roster. Manning is more than capable of doing the job, but if he’s not all in it could be a disaster. The Jets can’t afford to to take the risk on an experiment at this point.
