Matt Ryan is closer to Andy Dalton than Aaron Rodgers
Matt Ryan had a career year in 2016, leading the Falcons to the Super Bowl, and this season, many in the media are ready to put Ryan into the same elite quarterback tier. Colin isn’t.
Matt Ryan had a career year last year, but Colin doesn’t think it’s wise to classify someone on their best year. It’s also unfair to judge them by their worst.
When Ryan’s worst and best seasons are removed from the equation, he’s averaged 26 touchdowns, 14 interceptions for a 91 passer rating. Those numbers are closer to Andy Dalton than Aaron Rodgers.
“Matt Ryan is a B quarterback.”
NBA tough guys resent Steph Curry because he makes it look too easy
Noted basketball goon Dahntay Jones recently dropped the hot take that Golden State superstar Steph Curry is not currently a top-10 NBA player.
Colin disagrees with Jones, but understands why so many NBA players don’t show Curry the respect he deserves. Curry makes the game look to easy. He hardly broke a sweat while winning a title this year because he welcomed the addition of Kevin Durant, and has made a living torching teams from deep without having to get beat up near the basket.
Curry has done what most people do, he works smarter not harder. Blue collar guys who have to scrap to fight for their NBA existence are jealous.
