Michael Vick Tells Colin Why Baltimore is Right to Let Lamar Jackson Run While He Learns

The Ravens and John Harbaugh are preparing to unveil a “revolutionary” run first offense featuring second year quarterback Lamar Jackson, despite the league’s shift to overwhelmingly pass heavy attack.

Many are wondering if the contrarian offense can work, and no one knows the struggle of entering the league as dynamic running QB trying to learn the position than Fox Sports NFL analyst Michael Vick. Mike is arguably the most electric quarterback in the history of the NFL, and agrees with Baltimore’ s decision to let Jackson make plays with his legs initially while he learns the position.

Vick also says learning to be a proficient pocket passer is crucial to his long term success, but emphasizing the running game will help give him time to bridge the gap. He also discussed Ezekiel Elliott’s holdout and OBJ’s media attention. Watch here:
