Knicks Center Enes Kanter is no stranger to trolling Colin on social media, but today stopped by the studio for a face-to-face confrontation to defend his former teammate Russell Westbrook, and push back at Colin’s criticism of the Knicks.
The most surprising revelation in Kanter’s sit down, however, came when Colin asked about the possibility of Kyrie Irving joining forces with Jimmy Butler on the Knicks when the two hit free agency next summer.
Kanter said he is hearing Kyrie’s interested, and his sources sound more well placed than a random blog post citing “reports.” The Knicks have been a doormat for decades, but Kyrie forming a super team in New York would be the best news for Knicks fans since the 90’s.
Does Kanter know something everyone else doesn’t? Watch and judge for yourself:
.@ColinCowherd: A lot of people are saying, Kyrie’s interested [in joining the Knicks].@Enes_Kanter: Yes he is and not just him. Jimmy Butler and you know what, why not Kevin Durant? pic.twitter.com/9jFUuUlImV
