Bill Belichick‘s idea of a wild night is watching film on opponents’ defensive tendencies on 3rd and long until 1 AM, but after the Super Bowl he was in one helluva mood and decided to party down with his guys.

In a clip from the postgame celebration, NFL Films captured notorious party animal Gronk and Belichick embracing after the win and discussing their plans to let loose and celebrate. Obviously Gronk was going to let loose, but hearing Bill say that he was going to “step out” with the team is something you never thought you’d hear in a million years. He may never take a day off, but one night off won’t hurt after winning a sixth ring.

Gronk tells Bill “I haven’t stepped out in 8 months. I gotta step out tonight.”

Belichick going out with the crew is pretty rare, but it’s not the first time. Back in 2009 Randy Moss convinced the coach to come to the team Halloween party at roller rink. Belichick went dressed as a pirate.

Can’t believe @RandyMoss got Belichick to dress up for Halloween 🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/ZQkVai5HwG
