A portion of I-70 in Summit County, Colorado was shutdown after a large avalanche slammed into a section of the highway, and blasted unsuspecting vehicles that had the misfortune of passing by when it happened.

The terrifying scene was captured by a dash cam mounted to the vehicle of one driver who got slammed by the snow as it screamed down the mountain and across the highway. This is a first person perspective of the most terrifying moment of this guy’s life. Incredibly, no one was injured.

Does your heart race watching this video? A family was driving on I-70 when an #avalanche came barreling down the mountain & across the highway, hitting their pickup and pushing it across the road. Luckily, nobody was hurt. (Video courtesy of Shaune Golemon) pic.twitter.com/xvIx04VbCc
