Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington didn’t mince words reacting to the latest photos involving Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL insider Dianna Russini. On The Odd Couple, the hosts argued that what was once dismissed by many as rumor has now crossed into serious territory, especially with images reportedly dating back six years.
Parker emphasized that his show was early in treating the situation as legitimate news. “We were out front on this story. A lot of people poo‑poohed it,” Parker said, adding that some media members avoided the topic because of personal relationships. “We won’t turn our heads—even if it’s a friend.”
The situation escalated further when Vrabel skipped Day 3 of the NFL Draft to seek counseling, shortly after additional photos surfaced. Parker framed the central issue not as morality, but trust. “If he lied to the organization, you cannot trust him. And if you can’t trust him, you can’t lead men,” he said. “The cover‑up is always worse than the offense.”
Kelvin Washington agreed that more may still come out, suggesting this had been an “open secret” within NFL circles for years. “Pictures don’t just appear overnight. People sat on these for a long time,” Washington noted, adding that once the dam breaks, more usually follows.

Washington stopped short of believing New England would fire Vrabel, citing his strong relationship with owner Robert Kraft and recent on‑field success. “You could not be in a better place with worse timing than Mike Vrabel,” Washington said. Still, Parker remained firm: “Any credible organization has to ask—can we trust this guy? And my answer is no.”
The hosts also questioned Russini’s professional future after her public denials and resignation. Parker concluded bluntly: “No credible news organization can hire her again. Credibility is everything, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.”
