Trail Camera Purportedly Captures 'Bigfoot' Near Creek In Missouri

A trail camera in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, has sparked intrigue after capturing an image of a large, dark figure standing in a creek, which the camera's owner believes might be Bigfoot. The image was taken on Wednesday, August 20, at 12:30 PM, according to a report submitted to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO) by the camera owner, Will Boeving.

Boeving, who lives about 15 minutes west of Poplar Bluff, received an alert on his iPhone when the camera detected motion. Upon reviewing the image, he saw a massive figure standing upright on two legs in the creek. Boeving showed the picture to his wife, who agreed it depicted something large but couldn't identify it. By the time Boeving accessed the camera's live feed, the figure had vanished.

Later, Boeving and his brother visited the creek to investigate further. They found no footprints, suggesting the figure stayed in the water. Boeving's brother, who is six feet tall, stood in the same spot for comparison. The figure in the image appeared several feet taller and two to three times wider than his brother.

The camera, located on Boeving's secluded 700-acre family farm, is used primarily to monitor water levels. It sits far from the creek, making it unlikely for animals to trigger it. The image was captured when the camera was activated by blowing leaves.

While some remain skeptical, believing the figure could be a bear or another animal, Boeving is convinced it was Bigfoot. Reports of strange howls in the area have circulated for years, adding to the mystery.
