Today, Colin continued his NFL preseason conference predictions by picking the NFC East.

Colin thinks the division as a whole will be more competitive from top to bottom with Ezekiel Elliott eligible for the Cowboys for the entire season, and a significantly improved Giants under new head coach Pat Shurmur.

Colin still thinks Philly wins it again at 11-5, but pull back due to Super Bowl hangover and a more competitive overall division. The Cowboys finish second at 9-7, but still struggle due to lack of dynamic playmakers on the outside and questions in the secondary.

The Giants improve to .500 (8-8) after a miserable 3-13 season thanks to key offseason signings on both sides of the ball, a healthy Odell Beckham, and the addition of Saquon Barkley. More importantly they re-establish some organizational stability after the chaos under Ben McAdoo. The Redskins finish last at 6-10 after swapping out Kirk Cousins for Alex Smith, and still can’t figure out how to get the offense humming like it was under Sean McVay.
