A day after picking the Chargers to win the AFC West, Colin made his NFC West playoff predictions, and another L.A. division winner.

The Rams have added return all their key skill position players and welcomed another gamebreaker in Brandin Cooks. With offensive mastermind Sean McVay in his second year they should continue to light up scoreboards. Some worry about how the additions of the often volatile cornerback duo of Aqib Talib and Marcus Peters will fit, but Colin thinks McVay’s culture can handle it and will finish on top for the second straight year with an 11-5 record.

The Niners and Seahawks are teams headed in opposite directions and Colin sees the Niners and Jimmy G improving to 8-8 for second place, while the Seahawks continue to erode and end up third at 7-9. Arizona ends up last at 6-10 and will likely lose some games once they turn to rookie Josh Rosen at some point during the season. If Rosen shows he’s the long term answer at QB it will be well worth it.
